All Ears (first edition)

All Ears (first edition), was a series of sculptures, collages and a performance with the group exhibition "After Noise."

In dialog with the sculptures and collage, Mann performed her ongoing piece during the run of the exhibit entitled All Ears, which explored the role of the artist as a present and active witness. All ears was a on-on-one performances that occurred biweekly, and took place outside the gallery walls. During the performance, Mann listened without judgment to three continuous hours of whatever a speaker needed to vocalize out loud and in-person and then reflected back to the speaker in a non-critical way what she had witnessed.
