Take a Stand Marching Band was a street performance troupe, which began at the Los Angeles Women's March on January 21, 2017. The troupe resists the injustices unfolding nationally and within local communities. Take a Stand Marching Band uses Elana Mann's sculptures, the “Call to Arms” and “histophone,” and other musical devices, joining demonstrations with sculpture, song and dance.
