Muscle House Cookbook invites a diverse group of artists to contribute recipes to be performed in regularly-scheduled public programs at Venice Beach Recreation Center by a core group of performer / facilitators, with members of the public. The ‘recipes,’ instructive prompts for group performance, would be printed as a large-format artist’s book that would live on-site. Materials and equipment for use in performing the recipes would be brought in during public programs, creating temporary spectacles in and around the everyday activities at Venice Beach.
