Brazilian artist Lygia Clark (b. 1920, d. 1988) expansive oeuvre included interactive sculptures, wearable artworks, environments, and therapeutic experiments. Her artworks are highly influential to a younger generation of performance artists across the globe for creating artworks where the audience is transformed into the subject as participant and performer. Mann will consider how Clark's participatory work has been included in Museum exhibitions, and the legacy of her work on contemporary performance practices, including her own.
