This book documents the project GIVE IT TO ME, DO IT TO ME, MAKE ME..., which was a series of sixteen performances created by Elana Mann in 2006 at California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA (CalArts). Mann created this artwork by soliciting performance directions from her classmates at CalArts and then interpreting/misinterpreting the directions. All the pieces were performed within the span of one week, during the run of the MFA mid-residency exhibition in which all the graduate students showed recent work.
